Abdelfattah has worked as a senior lecturer since 2015, specializing in evaluating well-cementing integrity for conventional and geothermal wells. During this time, he has developed and conducted several experimental and numerical studies under thermo-mechanical loads to evaluate and enhance the durability and fatigue limits of the casing-cement-rock interfaces for geothermal and conventional wells. He is a current PhD candidate at Montanuniversitat Leoben.
